Eric Wayne is the Senior Director, Treasurer of Consumers Union (CU), the nonprofit product-testing and research organization that publishes Consumer Reports magazine and ConsumerReports.org. Mr. Wayne is responsible for overseeing Consumers Union's investment portfolios, debt arrangements, cash management and risk management programs, including information security and business contingency planning. He is responsible for managing CU's banking partner relationships and serves as a Trustee on CU's various pension and 401(k) plans.

He joined Consumers Union's Human Resources department in 1996 and served as Director, Human Resources from 2000 to 2004. As Director of Human Resources, he was responsible for overseeing recruitment, compensation, employee benefits, employee relations and performance management.

Before joining Consumers Union, Mr. Wayne spent 10 years working at Mutual of America in various positions including contracts, marketing, and consulting services. His last position at Mutual of America was as an employee benefits consultant, specializing in providing services to not-for-profit organizations.

Mr. Wayne earned a B. S. degree in Business Administration from SUNY at Oswego and a Masters in Business Administration from Baruch College. He lives in Westchester County, NY with his wife and two children.
