Comment:
Great A/C when NOT being used in Energy Saver mode. Since the thermometer is up against the evaporator coil and the fan only runs with the compressor is this mode, the thermometer reads a false low temp (i.e., A/C thermometer may only say it's 72 degrees, but the room is really 76 or 77). The fan should cycle periodically in this mode to allow the A/C to sniff the room. It really makes this mode rather useless, and I thought it disappeared with the newer A/Cs...I guess not. Other than that, it's a great A/C when used normally.

Comment:
We have had six straight days of 90 degree plus weather since we bought and put this unit in our 12x12 bedroom. We have a western exposure (sun in window all afternoon and evening). It cools our room wonderfully and is relatively quiet. I am very happy with this purchase. Thanks consumer Reports.
