Comment:
I use it in a room approx 22 x 22, 3 walls of which are double pane 4.5 foot casement windows with no window treatments, one wall faces south one faces west and there are NO trees providing shade. This unit very quickly brought both humidity and temp to a comfortable level (76) with outside temps a blazing 98.

It's very easy to install - BUT you'll need some pieces of wood or something to place on the outside window ledge to prop it up (make sure it still tilts down at the back so water drains outside). The manual does provide a number of suggestions for different window types but you may have to improvise.

Up/down control could have a greater range.

Comment:
This AC unit does not have a good support surface for my double hung window. It puts all the weight against the window to hold it. Nothing on the sill. Did not notice it before I bought it, otherwise I would have purchased something else.
