I bought it a couple of days ago. I normally like hearing those pinging or swishing sounds created by those droplets of water hitting the condenser. With this Kenmore A/C these sounds are surprisingly and annoyingly loud to me. I learned to live with noisy air conditioners over the years. Getting used to a particular sound is one thing, tolerating loud noise is quite another. The unit seems to work fine otherwise.
