Comment:
This unit is back wrenchingly heavy. The first year we owned it, the compressor refused to shut off. Even when the unit was turned off the compressor still ran. LG sent out a repairman but a short time later the problem came back intermittently. Now the fan is making a tremendous amount of noise. I no longer trust this unit.

Comment:
I will never buy a LG again. Customer service is the worse. The touch pad wears out for the power touch. The unit is very loud. It has to go in a room that has no TV and were you don't want to be talking to others. The right and left air flow vents are the worst.

Cheap Plastic Parts
Best Uses
Comment:
Although the price was good for the amount of BTUs received, I was very dissapointed in how cheap the front grill and other plastic parts were made. I ended up using duck tape to gold front grill on unit. Also filter provided is not adequated if used in any area where dust is a problem. YOu will need to clean it at least daily. I ended up installing a foam rubber filter under the grill that helped signifacntly keep dirt and dust from clogging the fins.
