This unit is way out in front of the units CR has rated in terms of overall quality. It's quiet (no pinging caused by a 'sucker' fan blowing water against the condenser. The cooling capacity is exceptional. I purchased 2 Frigidaire 6000BTU units this summer (based on CR rating)--noise (pinging) galore!!! The Soleus beats Frigidaire in a walk. You'll really enjoy the QUIET. Easy to install. Fantastic cooling capacity. The CR rating process needs a major overhaul. Go Soleus!!!
