Comment:
Out of convenience I purchased 4 Idylis Air Purifiers from my local Lowe's store to control bird dander in my home. Although noisey from the start, they seemed efficient initially. My disappointment with them began quickly when I realized how quickly and often the costly carbon and filters had to be changed. Unacceptable! I do not recommend them for the purpose I wanted them for, bird dander. I actually wouldn' recommend them for any purpose due to the noise level. I am currently shopping for replacement air purifiers.

When I called the Ph. Number in the book I was told to take it back to the store. The store would not take it. I was very disappointed because I bought a second one about a month before the first one quit working. I liked the way it worked before it quit and wish customer service was better. I would have paid to have it fixed. No one will tell me where to send it. and it had a five year warranty. Very disappointed.

My manual says, 18months/6months for filter changes, that's not unreasonable! Brought the air purifiers for allergies, have had it 2 days and can tell a remarkable difference. Consumer report said another brand was the best, but i think they overlooked the Idylis!
