Bedroom Humidification
Comment:
During the cold months we use this unit to humidify our bedroom while sleeping. It does get the job done. It's quiet and its output is clean. But we've had humidifiers in the past and they seem to have more features, such as humidistats which sense excess humidity and cycle the unit on and off. Also, the unit's base does not attach securely to the unit itself, one has to be careful handling the unit so that it doesn't spill.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Water on the floor not in the ari

Water Tray Is To Shallow
Best Uses

Comment:
I bought the unit for the bedroom. It ran quiet but could only run the unit less then a couple of hours. In that time two tanks of water ran out onto the floor. One when I first turned it on and the second after I used a leveler to level the unit. The water would not stop puring water out the bottom. The water tray on the bottom of the unit is to shallow for the water that it is supposed to hold and the tray is to flexible to carry to the kitc hen sink to clean. When you try to move the unit to another location it will leek all the stored water out of the unit.

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
I have used this unit for 90 days and am on my third wick filter. Hard water seriously affects this filter. It however is quite quiet and does humidify the area I use it in.I can invision the cost of filters would be quite expensive in the long run. I will be replacing this unit in the near future!!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
