I have 2 of these plus 2 of the new button ones. I travel weekly and love the fact that the house temp is always where I want it. It even selects the away temp to save more money than I would have selected. The first winter the two thermostats saved me over $500, and then another $200 in the summer. Based on the savings, I bought 2 more of the new model. Perfect for me and my wife because we have such variable schedules. Plus we tied in our sump pump pit alarm so it sends us an email if the sump overflows - that's a big deal for us!

We've had this device now for over 5 years in two homes and cannot live without it. I've installed it myself but I am very electrically inclined. The fact that there is no additional cost to connect your device to the web was a huge selling point and they have continuously improved the interface each year.<br /><br />Everyone should have one of these.

Learns the environment and is quite accurate with the temperature and humidity. Controls not only temperature but also humidifier or any other related appliance that is connected. <br />The website now has ability to convert your home settings to intelligent info you can use.<br />A bit expensive and needs a pro to install but worth every penny to me.
