Comment:
It's a great blender for the money. You're getting a lot here for a relatively modest cost, as compared with high end (crazy expensive) blenders. It's just a blender at a great value. Customer Service is exceptional too. I broke the pitcher and called Ninja to order a replacement. I was prepared to pay for it. I was so surprised by how wonderful their Customer Service was. They said they would ship out a new blender (not just the pitcher) immediately. I told them that everything on the old blender still worked fine, and that all I really needed was a new pitcher. But they said they would rather send a brand new unit to me. All they asked was that I ship the old unit back to them. They immediately emailed me a label for FREE shipping of the old unit back to them (I was still on the phone with them when the email arrived). The new unit arrived quickly, and I just put the old unit into the box that the new blender arrived in and slapped the free shipping label on it, and sent it back. It didn't cost me a dime. Customer service like this is very rare nowadays.

I've read some negative reviews about how the Ninja doesn't perform as well as a Vitamix that costs hundreds of dollars more. I don't doubt that is the case. LOL, just like my Honda doesn't perform as well as a Mercedes Benz - but I don't have the cash to buy a Vitamix (or a Mercedes for that matter). The Ninja/Vitamix comparison seems a bit unfair to me. For those (like me) who want a good blender for under a hundred dollars, I figure this is the best blender out there. It's a workhorse that does a fine job. Purists will want something better, and that's fine. Good for them :-)

Liquidifying Raw Foods
Comment:
I use this product to make customized smoothies that are packed full of raw vegetables and fruits. I can hard or soft vegetation and it will liquify it easily (need some liquid, of your choice). I also use the food processor to make all my pizza doughs, cakes, cookies, and chop up vegetables like carrots, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, olives, etc. to use when I cook. I make my own pizza sauces too. I think the ninja is an appliance everyone can benefit from to eat better, with less preservatives or additives in their food. I hope to be able to get a ninja with a glass pitcher and individual cups to reduce the contact my food has with the BPA that is in the plastic one.

Comment:
I have had the Ninja for just over a week and absolutely love it...!!! I use it mostly for smoothies, but my daughter has become accustomed to having slushies. It chops the ice into little slivers in just 3 pulses for slushies and smoothies take less than 30 seconds with whole frozen fruit. I seen some complaints about cleaning, but I think it is so incredibly easy to clean as the blades come right out and if you rinse after use, it's a cinch. I can't say enough good about this little machine, it is by far one of the best purchases I have made.
