Used it primarily for shakes/smoothies. Only one blade that does not aerate. Probably great as a chopper because of its power. Lousy for shakes.

I used blender for soups, smoothies and grinding seeds. It failed miserably on all accounts. It's in my trash can!

This unit never worked well from the beginning. I guess I should had returned it to the store as it only would run a minute or so per charge. Now, after even seldom usage, the battery only lasts a few seconds per charge. I took it apart to replace the batteries but the unit has 8 individual 9.6v batteries and they are not replaceable. Do not waste your money or time on this product.
