plastic part of blender cracks

Comment:
We are on our second Hamilton Beach and both have experienced cracks in the plastic stick. This lets food get into the blender part and it becomes impossible to clean. I'm getting a more expensive one and hoping tha I can actually pay for quality!! This is a good blender for a short time - 6-12 months.
