I don't use my regular blender any more. My Mittuto does it all more efficiently and I can prepare several things at the same time using different recepticles.

Two blenders both failed

I purchased this based on CR's recommendation in <br />10/11. I use the blender to make a smooth hot chocolate, and to puree vegetables when my regular blander was not available. The blender blade, and other blades and attachments, fit onto a shaft. The blender blade got stuck on the shaft: I could not remove it meaning no other blades for other uses could be attached. <br />I contacted the company and they sent me a new blender shaft and a new set of blades under warranty agreement. <br />Within a month, while mixing hot chocolate, the new blender blade flew off the shaft, damaging the blender blade beyond use. Unit is going back to the manufacturer and a full refund is being requested. I am very dissatisfied with this immersion blender. I recommend it not be purchased

Broke on only the second use!

Feels good and solid in hand. Unfortunately, my specimen broke on only the second, very light use! The drive shaft couplings in the motor housing and the wand stick are made of plastic (not metal), and the coupling on the motor housing side disintegrated during the second use, and little pieces of metal are now inside the wand. Result: A non-functioning product. Am returning it for a full refund.
