Good coffee, bad ergonomics
Beeks When Done
Brews Quickly
Easy To Clean
Good Brew
Single cup
Easy To Spill
Hard To Remove Tank
Hard To See Water
Best Uses
Great brew quality but otherwise mired by a poor water tank design. The tank is an example of form over function: it has a lift handle, but because it sits on top of the very tall machine, it's difficult to lift further when placed under the cabinet. Its large round shape is difficult to grasp to remove. Its smoke color makes it difficult to see the fill level. The fill hole is small and easy to spill all over. So, the fill activity each morning becomes a chore of its own.

Makes great coffee
Full Flavor
Solid Build
Best Uses
1 Large Or 2 Medium
I use this at home once or twice a week. Noticeably richer flavor than the 8 to 12 cup cheap plastic makers at work. Has an end of brewing beep, metal basket in cone shape included for coffee grounds. Can fill the included tumbler to the volume of coffee desired then pour this water in the plastic reservoir through a small but sufficiently sized hole. Steam coming from the top can adversely affect the finish of kitchen cabinets above, so we moved it to a counter that has no wall or peninsula cabinets.

Worked only 4 months
Best Uses
Failed after 4 months. Kitchenaid would not honor warranty as was purchaseed from a non Kitchenaid authorized seller even though was new in box, all paperwork included and was registered. I purchased from an e-bay seller.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
