I am on my 3rd DCC-2800. I originally ordered my first one from Amazon and after a few weeks I noticed the lid was not fitting correctly. Amazon sent me a replacement and shortly before the warranty ended the coffeemaker just died. I called Cuisinart and they sent a replacement and it lasted only a few weeks before the lid quit working. The workmanship in this product is terrible. I would not recommend this model under any circumstances.

Poor Engineering Design
Coffee tastes good
Hard To Clean
Lid Design Very Poor
Long Brew Time
Daily use, and worked fine for awhile. After 5 months it started spilling and leaking coffee while brewing, which worsened with time. It finally quit putting coffee into carafe entirely despite careful cleaning of all parts. I suspect the problem is in the valve in the top, but disappointed at such a poor design. It is difficult to pour from the carafe, and has to be held completely upside down to get final coffee out, and the lid points ensuring coffee spills even more.
