Looks good and produces good coffee. Construction is shabby. The first one would not open and the second one leaked all over the counter! Cuisinart, how about some quality control.

Comment:
Decided on this model after researching new coffee makers to replace my older Cuisinart that wasn't getting hot enough any more. Couldn't complain about that one..had used it for several years. This model came from Bed Bath and Beyond and the lid broke after 2 weeks. (Wouldn't stay down) Called Cuisinart and they told me to return it to BBB..which I did for a full refund. Now wondering what to get to replace it...

Comment:
It came with no manual. The reservoir is awkward to pour into and pouring from the carafe produces a dribble. Maybe mine is faulty? In any case it's going back. i like Cuisinart so am reluctant to utterly pan it.
