Top Springs Break Easily
Best Uses
The top design is problematic. Coffee is fine but with repeated use the springs break and entire thing must be replaced. Also, the bottom hot plate is rusting.

Poor Ergonomics
Poorly Made
Best Uses
Executive Summary: Makes decent but not remarkable coffee. Has some ergonomic problems. Not durable.

Our second one just broke. The first one lasted about 18 months before the hinge on the top lid broke and made it impossible to get consistent water delivery. Our second is 6 months old. The button that controls the program settings broke off in normal use.

The machine makes decent coffee although not nearly as good as a manual pour over setup. The timer feature is convenient. The water resevoir is difficult to access. It takes practice to put water in without spilling. The bail on the filter basket makes it difficult to throw away a used filter. Brewing is slow.

Water leaks from the bottom.
Best Uses
I use it once daily in the morning to make coffee for me and spouse.
Nothing really great about it.
I did not expect a top-rated product to have this kind of problem. One would think holding the water in a coffee maker would be the last system to fail.
