Comment:
I have had two. The clock on the first one would not keep time. It would lose a minute here and three minutes there and then 10-15 minutes all at once. I exchanged it and the clock on the second one did the same. I never know how far to advance the clock before I go to bed in order to have hot coffee when I wake up.

Comment:
We are coffee snobs in our house, so we liked the insulated carafe which didn't cook the coffee after brewing. It brewed a really good cup of coffee. We also liked the single cup dispensing feature.<br /> Our biggest disappointment was the fact that it started to sputter and steam after only about a year. In fact, the steam was so heavy that we had to move it away from our cabinets. We had done the recommended cleaning regimen with white vinegar whenever the machine indicated that it was needed. Then after 13 months, it just died. We are going to give the 10-cup one a try since it has gotten better reviews. Hopefully that will last longer. Otherwise, we're done with Hamilton Beach.

Comment:
Good quality brew; easy to clean though level-view window hard to clean; not messy; although called 12-cup, it's more like 6-7 coffee mugs; very reasonably priced
