I have owned two of these coffee makers and have had the same problem twice, unfortunatly I have an extra carafe so I am trying to find a repair shop. First it makes good coffee, I like the fact that you can adjust the strength settings. The carafes are strong as they have a plastic rim around the top edge. The coffee maker also tells you when it needs cleaning which is a nice feature. BUT, the major drawback is the water supply hose. It's an orange in color hose an it disinagrates over time where it connects to the heating element causing it ot leak water everywhere. It happened on my first one and I took it apart, it's the hose that goes from the water supply tank to the heating coil. I will not buy another one because of this issue.

I have had this coffee maker for years. Overall, I think it has done a good job. The coffee it makes is consistantly good. The controls are easy to use. It has some nice features, such as delay brew timer and the ability to pour a cup while it is still brewing. It is stylish and affordable. The hot plate keeps the coffee hot for 2 hours after brewing.<br /><br />As far as cons go, it does brew a little slowly. I do not use the water filter because it slows the brewing way too much. I find the water tank slightly annoying to fill. You have to fill the tank slowly or the water will overflow a bit onto the top of the coffee maker. It does make noise and the end of brew beeper is loud, but these things don't bother me at all.<br />The carafe cracked recently after years of service and multiple moves. If it is easy to buy a new carafe, I will continue to use this coffee maker. Otherwise, I will probably buy a machine with fancier features (like a thermal carafe).

Used it for 6-7 months now. The display went south !!! Would not auto off. Plug it in and it would start to brew, while power light still off !!!! Had to unplug it to turn it off !! Moisture in the display glass !!!
