i've been using the Technivorm Moccamaster for several years. Due to scheduling, i was looking for a coffeemaker that required less fuss so i tried this model, the only official Kcup brewer still sold by Keurig.
i know what Starbucks Verona is supposed to taste like, and this machine made a cup that just didn't resemble it.
The digital thermometer in the tall mug read a peak of 170 degrees as it dispensed, 10 degrees cooler than CR indicated.
And of course coffee needs to be extracted between 195 and 205 degrees, and i do not think this machine can heat water up to that temperature.

This was a gift, it will be residing on my closet shelf. Who in their right mind designs a coffee maker that has no way to adjust coffee strength. It is fast and convenient, but what good is that if the coffee is dishwater weak.

Comment:
I was a very pleased Keurig customers for years but not so when I bought new units for work and home. They both taste like plastic and smell like a burnt tire. So far, Keurig suggests to put vinegar and water and let it sit and then cycle through with water. Anyone else encounter this problem?
