Received one for X-mass last year and loved it so much we bought another one for our cottage. After 8 months the 1st one stopped working so we brought the 2nd one home and it stopped working. They are under warranty but they can only replace one at a time. Stay away

Perfect for those who want a fresh brewed cup of coffee without having to make & waste a full pot. At the same time that I purchased the Brewer I also bought a refillable filter cup (go to www.solofill.com) which allows you to use your own coffee instead of having to buy the Vue paks. It works great and eliminates all those plastic cups from the environment.

Comment:
We like the machine fine, especially the convenience of allowing individual tastes and choices which is wonderful in a household with a flavored coffee drinker and a dark, strong coffee preference under one roof! It's nice that it can be used for teas, cocoa, and other types of beverages.
It would be even better if the company included more fair trade/organic coffees in the pod form offerings in both regular and flavored varieties.
One thing that the company needs to get on the ball with is in reducing waste from pods even more by developing a use your own coffee accessory that they approve. There is one available, but the company claims that using it will void the warranty which seems a bit like trapping customers to require them to purchase the company produced pods at a premium price (not to mention shipping waste and cost).
Regarding the bottom line I would gladly recommend this machine if/when they come out with the refillable accessory and a large offering of fair trade/organic coffees. Until then, I can't recommend it.
