Comment:
We decided to upgrade our Special Edition to the Vue 700 what a night mare. We had to return and get a new one about a month ago and today had to return the new one for the same defect. The brewer sounded like it was going to brew and no water came out. Turned it off, descaled and still it would not brew. We returned it and got a Platinum. Very disappointed in this model. We had high hopes.

Comment:
Second V700 with mechanical issues. First unit would not recognize water level event with 'float' at top position, inconsistent coffee loading sensing. The replacement unit we've had for a month and now does not brew the ounce setting (set 16, gives 12 oz.) with grinding/louder pump noise. Clean and no obstructions.

Obviously, company has great design but epically fails with cheap materials and components.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
