My brand new machine purchased from CostCo leaked water from the underside instead of dispensing into the cup. Customer service told me to take it back, so I did. I've seem similar comments from others- they must have very poor quality assurance.

Has some flaws, but more upside
Easy To Use
I love this machine. I have had it for over a year. It is a little quirky, but once you get the hang of it, there is nothing like it. It makes espresso that is amazing. No other single serve machine can do that. Don't be conned into thinking your keurig can make a latte, because it can't. This machine makes actual espresso.

I also use it to make 2-3 cups of brewed coffee per day. So far its held up great.

Leaks Though Drip Pan
Produces Excess Drippage
I had to return the Verismo machine twice to COSTCO because of a leaky drip pan - it was poorly assembled/glued/constructed. Leaked all over my counter - this machine produces a lot of excess liquid during the brewing process, so you have to clean/empty the drip pan often, even if it doesn't leak.
