If CR recommended this unit, they are wrong. While easy to operate, you will spend a lot of time trying to find the pods. When you do, you'll see that they are price-fixed. You cannot trick the system by installing an open unit which enables you to use your own coffee. I received mine as a gift. If I had bought it, I would have returned it.

Great coffeemaker,but can only buy coffee online.No stores in my area sell the pods for this machine.For that reason I wouldn't recommend to my friends.Keurig has many more options and is sold everywhere.
