Bought this Kenmore cooktop in February 2012 based on Consumer Reports review. About a month later noticed the Hot Surface Indicator lights flickering when everything was off. [@] came and said there was a voltage leak and ordered a part. When the part came they said it was not the right part and that they do not make a part to fix this problem. I am returning this cooktop.
How long have you owned it:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Owned this cooktop for 9 months,I had noticed the hot surface lights flickering when unit was off. Still under warranty,it took 5 repair visits to tell me that they can't fix it. I can order same one or use credit toward another. I'm still deciding.
