Comment:
Have had two Jenn-Air downdraft gas modular cooktops since 1990. Recently replaced the modular version with JGD3430 - the 30 version of the gas cooktop tested by Consumer Reports. The cooktop design is beautiful and has been easy to care for. The quality seems very good. The operation and overall performance of the cooktop has been excellent - it gets lots of use in our household. So far, I couldn't be happier.

Comment:
Totally disappointed in the performance of the downdraft. I can still smell food odor two hours after cooking. The downdraft performance of this model is poorer that the 20-year old cooktop I replaced.

Comment:
This cooktop looks great, has a low profile (which I love)and best of all, no need to buy an additional downdraft venting system. My old cook-top was a 25 yr.old Jenn-Air with the center draft. Took it out, put this one in. Love it!
