Comment:
Blew a thermostat after only 2 years. Repair guy says it will take 4-5 weeks to get the part. How do you manage with no oven for that long. Some of the cook options quit working correctly also.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
My parents purchased the oven when the new house was built. It worked great for about a year (as long as the warranty lasted). Literally a week after the warranty was up, the door latch decided to lock itself. Soon after the touch screen quit (which we had to replace twice, as the first one didn't work). Now the thing wont heat up. I tried to phone LG on how to fix it, but they told me i had to be a technician to disclose information to me (I'm more than capable of fixing it). It works great when there's nothing wrong with it but DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN! Its not worth the headache. I call it the most expensive wall clock in the house, at least you can trust it to keep time.
