Fantastic oven

Comment:
We have a double oven but the top one is the same as this single one. I works fantastically. There is nothing that I would have to compalian about. The fan, though a little loud, is much quieter than our last oven. I have no idea why so many reviewers think it is so loud. <br />If you get this oven you will not be sorry!

Comment:
I went by the Consumer Reports rating. I like the cleaning method it uses, by using steam. It is nice looking and sleek, but the high pitch shrill of the fan cancels out any nice features of this oven. You can hear the shrill all over the house and it is a relief when it finally shuts off (which is after the oven has cooled off). I called the repairman because I thought for sure that Whirlpool would not sell anything so awful, that there had to be some mistake. Now I am stuck with an annoying oven. Do not buy this oven!

Comment:
In researching all wall ovens it appears noisy operation is a constant complaint so this could be the same as others. Really very high pitched annoying fan on all settings and temperature expansion/contraction creaking from the oven.In evaluating operational features this unit works just fine and durability will be decided. Sears offers refundable longer warranty which appears to be a good precaution when one reads what so many other brands have as complaints, especially the so-called top brands. At least it drones out the microwave noise!
