LG customer service is non-existent!!!
I tried to order a bottom rack for our LG LDF6920 dishwasher that was configured to sit to the right of our kitchen sink because the rack that came with it is backwards to us when loading. Sears insisted that there was no such thing, but after using dishwashers for decades I knew that dishwashers were always available in two configurations so that the racks would always face the kitchen sink. So after months of frustrated usage, I decide to contact LG directly (via chat on their Support website) and asked them for a rack configured the way we wanted. The cust service rep assured me they were available, and would send one to us within 7-10 days. That was Sept 26, 2013. When it hadn't arrived a month later, I contacted them again, and they assured me that it was on its way. We received it Nov 15, 2013, and it was exactly the same rack as the one we have. When I contacted them about it, he stated that, ...LG doesn't sell directly to customers, we don't have stores, and we can only provide you with the original parts you bought with the unit. When I asked him why they didn't tell me that the first time we spoke, he wrote, ...maybe you didn't ask, and that he didn't recall speaking with me. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he transferred me to someone named John, who never wrote a word on the chat, then disconnected. I'll never buy another LG product, EVER!!
