This was part of a kitchen full of new LG appliances, and probably the one I was most excited about - and the one I'm most disappointed with. Although it was incredibly quiet, the dishwasher didn't get everything clean and was difficult to fit my dishes in. I would never run the cycles that last 2-4 hours regardless of how dirty my dishes were - I would soak and rinse them first. Even the extra dry button didn't help much in getting rid of the water left on everything. Glad I didn't get rid of my old one - it's going back into service.

We run the dish washer once a week or so as we are a couple and bought an entire suite of LG kitchen and laundry appliances. While it is virtually silent and has an attractive design, cycles take over 2hrs and it is difficult to load wine glasses and dinner plates do not stand upright. We are returning the unit as the dishes and silverware are always spotty (even when using drying agents) and, the water never gets hot. We consulted the manual regarding proper loading and running hot tap water before starting but nothing works. Very disappointed in the performance. We will exchange for another brand with a heating element.
