Comment:
The dishwasher leaves crud all over the dishes. We had it serviced twice under warantee with no success. Crud accumlutates under the door gasket which the warantee repair guy said he found frequently in this unit and is a design flaw. The gasket is now chewed up and, the warantee over, needs to be replaced after 18 months. Also, the controls inexplicably lock up every few months and have to be reset by turning the circuit breaker off then on again. Never again. I like their phones.

My 1st dishwasher had a motherboard problem 9 months into owning it. The manufacturer warranty replaced it. 6 months later (now out of manufacturer warranty) the same issue- the motherboard went bad. The store replaced the dishwasher as I had purchased their extended warranty. Unfortunately I have a kitchen full of Samsung and 2.5 years later the french door refrigerator is making an ice dam under the freezer drawer. The stovetop looks like I took sandpaper to it and I have NEVER had an issue with a glass cooktop in all the years I have owned one. Do not buy Samsung! It's a very expensive mistake.

We bought this dishwasher about 1 yr ago and recently the basket adjuster part broke off and now doesn't adjusted, only one level, low. The basket adjuster is the option that sold me on the dishwasher and now I am ordering a replacement part. In the beginning the dishwasher was quiet, not anymore. We use the dishwasher twice a day and it does not do the job very well. Doesn't dry , after the cycle you have to dry off pots and pans due to a lot of water spots . Sometime we have to rerun the dishwasher since the dishes are still dirty. The cycles are very long so if you need to due two loads, it will be two hours later to do the next load. Very unsatisfied with this dishwasher and wish I never purchased it.
