Brand new and too noisy to live with

Comment:
Running the first cycle in this brand new machine the noise of water spraying on the apparently uninsulated plastic door liner was so loud that it could be heard all over the house. With an open-plan home, there's no way to watch TV or talk on the phone while this contraption is running. It can be heard at the far end of my home. My first new dishwasher in 8 years, and after less than a day I know I can't keep it. Huge disappointment and likely a very expensive mistake.

Comment:
Ordered this dishwasher in July it arrived in early August. Died on October 8th. When you start it the lights come on for 2 minutes and then go out. No filling. This is our 4th Whirlpool dishwasher in about 20 years. I wish they stood behind their product and would take this back. They will not.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
