Important features Electric grills

Most grills' nonstick surface make them easy to clean, though the slotted grates on some open grills are a little tough to get at. Our tests found that the nonstick finish on most grills stood up well to intense scrubbing. Temperature controls are intended for more precise cooking of meats and vegetables. However, indoor grills don't heat to much more than 400°, so all foods cook best at the highest temperature. A timer, which lets you know when the grill is fully heated and when your food is cooked, is available on some models. Timers are convenient but indicator lights work just as well, and you can use a regular kitchen timer to track cooking time.
