Comment:
Have had this same one for many years and am pleased to see that it still has high ratings! The plastic holding the blade finally cracked on my old one. I've been waiting for something like that to happen because I'm sure I ask too much of it at times. (Sometimes chopping pieces of roast for sandwich spread.) I'm hoping that I can still use the old bowl and lid as spares on the new one.

I use this to make berry, banana and protein smoothies in the morning. It is fast but a little difficult to clean. If the chrome spindle is not to rust you must use a cotton swab in the plastic part the blade spindle fits in to clean and dry it.<br />Also, a small crack has developed at the base of one of the blades. It is a perfect size for an average adult breakfast (or 2 grandchildren).

Comment:
I gave up my large Cuisinart processor for this one, about 10 years ago. Love it, love it, love it. Never had any problem, it still works perfectly. Occasionally I wish for a bit larger capacity or a grating disk but not enough to go back to a large processor. Caution when chopping nuts - too much in and you get butter on the bottom; better to do a small amount then repeat.
