4.0
Great performance at a great price
3/23/2012
Pros
Great price
High capacity
Very good performance
Cons
Shoot cover pin must lock
Best Uses
Grating cheese potatoes
Large batch of latkes
Slicing for food prep
Comment:
This makes a huge batch of potato pancakes quickly and easily. It slices vegetables for salad and food prep. I use it to slice eye of the round and chuck roast after I've slow cooked them or pressure cooked them-makes even, thin slices that are great to serve and it slices them evenly and much thinner than I could do with my carving knife. I wash everything in the dishwasher. Great price for an efficient, high capacity, large shoot processor..

Doesn't chop well
8/13/2011
Pros
Bowl size
Large mouth to add food
Cons
Does not chop well
Does not store compactly
Best Uses
Comment:
I bought this processor to chop item to can. It does not chop anything I tried to use well. It doesn't seem to be able to rotate the produce to allow the produce on the top to be chopped. The produce in the bottom was way too fine, and on the top large pieces. I tried several different quantities in the bowl, and a very small amount seemed to work better than any other quantity. Why have the big bowl if you can't take advantage of it. I am returning the processor after on day of use.
