Comment:
I bought this freezer after my 23 year old upright died. I did research before I went out to even look at freezers that were available. I chose the chest freezer because of the reports I read - more economical to run, lower price to buy, and closer to the actual stated cubic foot space (plus the fact that the store I bought it from told us that they were going to be putting them on sale & if I went back with my receipt, they would refund some of my money!). I did read some reviews on another website that this freezer was noisy - I have not found that to be true. It does take up more floor space than my old upright but overall I am happy with the purchase of this freezer.
