I've owned this disposer for maybe 15 years. It was fairly easy to install (given cramped space). <br />Right after the 10 year warranty expired one of the impellers had a piece break off. We continued using it.<br />Still does a pretty good job dispite that. It has been discontinued and now replaced by the Legend line. The only reason I'd consider the more expensive 1 hp model is for the lifetime warranty. The 3/4 hp was more than adequate. I give it 5 stars for making it 10 years without issue, and continuing to perform well dispite a broken impeller.
