Juicing
Comment:
Been using just over a week replacing juice for breakfast. Wanted a product that would be easy and powerful to use so that our juicing regiment would not just be a fad. The Breville 800 has provided that. The only drawback if any would be the noise, but its not terrible... definitely quieter than a blender.
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
Purchased both on sale but, still 2X's too expensive. <br />Most major cons are: 1) leaves a lot of juice unextracted; 2) Pitcher too small... would be nice be able to connect a hose to a larger receptical!
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
I have used this Brevile for a year. It wasn't the best, our juices always came out a bit burnt. We have bought a Hurom slow juicer from fhdecor.com after a friend recommended it and have not looked back you guys should review that juicer and see what a true juicer looks like.

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Strength
Powerful motor, easy to clean, quick and easy, made of stainless steel so easy to clean.
Weakness
None
I can't believe how easy it is to juice fruits and vegetables with this machine. It's so fast and you don't have to chop up the food too much before hand. Clean up is a breeze. Definately worth the price.

Breville Jiuce Fountain

Strength
industrial strength motor, slick and beautiful metallic design
Weakness
filter is a little hard to clean, but a necessary hassel
I am so glad we spent extra to get the elite model with the industrial power motor. It extracts juice from carrots effortlessly. I am pleasantly surprise how good tasting the juice is when using fresh produce.

Strength
design
Weakness
a little expensive, but worth it if good design and performance mean something to you
This is a well designed juicer, and that's why I ordered it. I hate plastic. This one is metal. It has a great, commercial look to it. Even the toggle switch to move between high speed or low speed has a good feel. The big red button is to shut it off. And a really cool design element is a patented cord plug, which has a big hole for your finger to go thru...makes plugging and unplugging it a snap. It's one of those things you wonder why you didn't think of yourself. If you're wondering about the juicing, don't. This thing could probably juice a brick wall.
