Comment:
Have made 16 oz of vegetable juice (celery, bok choy, asian greens, carrots, spinach, ginger, radish, beets, mustard greens, collard greens, kale, etc.) 4 or 5 days per week for the last year. Only problem is the time it takes (30-45 minutes) for the food selection, juicing, and washing. There is also a large amount of waste in the pulp bin. Cutter blades clog over time, but can be recovered by soaking in chlorox.

I admit that I did use it a 3-4 times a week for around a month but I stopped using it because it's BROKEN! The piece that spins came loose from the drive and will no longer juice!

We choose this unit based on Consumer Reports recommendations. In the first month, the tiny retainer on the latch came off. After contacting customer support, their resolution was to cut the cord, take a picure showing it was no longer usable, and then contact customer support again with a credit card to pay for shipping a new unit. The cost was almost 50% the price of the unit. I repaired the unit myself.

less than two weeks later, the cheap plastic between the motor and the grinder/strainer broke. We have trashed this and will purchase something better.

Hamilton Beach 67650 Pro Juice Extractor
08/01/2008
Strength
powerful juicer, remainder pulp is very less which give max juice extraction
Weakness
the inner blade is sharp and the cleanup of that sometime is painful. but eventually it can become a habit
i recommend a definite buy on this. the best thing about the product is that the cleanup time is small. one thing i am doubtful is whether the inner blades sharpness with last with everydays cleanup and thus rusting.
