Comment:
Purchased based upon CR review. It worked okay at first and I was quite impressed, but after light use for two weeks started to bog down (wouldn't juice). Finally, without much prompting, the drive shaft stripped the plastic the plastic drive hub under the stainless blades and started smoking. I am so angry. I learned over the past two weeks it is best to cut the fruit and veggie pieces into smaller sizes so all juices well, so I wasn't mistreating the machine. I wanted it to work because I rely heavily on juiced materials for my personal health (control diabetes and weight). I completely wasted my money on this purchase.

Comment:
This is a follow-up to my comments about the Hamilton Beach juicer. My replacement juicer has arrived (4-16-2013)and used for the first time this morning. It is a slightly different configurtion but still easy to use and clean up and seems to provide even more juice than the previous unit. BUT and a big BUT. This is the noisiest appliance I've ever owned. My ears are still ringing; next use I'll wear my ear headset silencer. Wish I could find a way to insulate this juicer. Because of the noise I can no longer recommend this otherwise fine juicer.

Does what it's supposed to do!

Cons
Cleaning Brush Too Soft

Comment:
I've used this unit daily for over a year and it far out-performed and out-lasted my previous more expensive juicer(s). Unfortunately, a spoon slipped into the chute and the sharp blade was dulled. Without the sharp cutter, I had to force the fruit/veggies down the chute which slowed the motor and kicked large chunks of solids backward with enough force to break the cover. However, I've been so pleased with this inexpensive unit that I have a new one on order.

Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Hamilton Beach 67650 Pro Juice Extractor
08/01/2008
Strength
powerful juicer, remainder pulp is very less which give max juice extraction
Weakness
the inner blade is sharp and the cleanup of that sometime is painful. but eventually it can become a habit
i recommend a definite buy on this. the best thing about the product is that the cleanup time is small. one thing i am doubtful is whether the inner blades sharpness with last with everydays cleanup and thus rusting.
