Comment:
I used this machieve on and off over the period of several years. It performed OK, but the plastic nozzle from where the juice comes out broke easily (as a result of poor design, not being mishandled). Most recently, the plastic of the screw pegg which holds the blade disentigrated (although never placed in a dishwashed) - clearly a sign of cheap plastc and poor design. Now, due to this inexpensive but impossible to repair faulty part, the entire unit has to be thrown away. I would not buy this brand again.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
I bought this juicer with so much enthusiasm only to be defrauded by the faulty design of the screw pegg where the blade screws into. When I called Tri-Star the folks distributing Jack LaLanne pro juicer they told me that I had no warranty in efect. To repair it I must send motor at my cost and they would shipp it back at my cost as well. In all the 3 months I have had the juicer I only used it 30 times or less.
