Comment:
I use this juicer mainly for hard vegetables, like carrots, beets, and hard fruits like apples. It works very well for those things.

It is not too difficult to clean, yet it is not a very quick clean situation. It's good enough that way and not a problem.

The precision of the blade/disc and the centrifuge wall is good but as good as I would like it to be. What this means is that the pieces being pushed into the blade through the chute can sometimes skip into the juice/pulp area in chunks. It might be that I simply need a new blade, because it was not this way at first.

I have had it for about 6 years, and I use it only occasionally. I might have 2 years of normal use on it so far. I have a feeling it will last a long time.

I had to replace one of the arms/levers that secure the bowl to the base. They seem to be made of some type of high impact plastic. The arm cracked but did not break completely. I replaced it by buying a set of two arms for about $15. I have not had a problem with the arms since then.

It does not do citrus well, but then I would not expect that. I tried doing green leafy vegetables once just to see if it would work, and it did, but it did a poor job, of course, because it it not designed for that purpose.

So, for hard vegetables, its a fast way to get some good juice that is not heated or foamy.
How long have you owned it:
