About - Frigidaire Gallery FGEF3032MF

The Frigidaire Gallery FGEF3032MF is part of the kitchen range test program at Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, electric range models like the Gallery FGEF3032MF are rated on multiple criteria, such as those listed below.

Cooktop high:
This reflects how quickly the most powerful element could raise a 6-liter (6 1/3 quart) pot of water from room temperature to a near boil.

Cooktop low:
This reflects how well the lowest-powered element or burner kept a low temperature as for melting chocolate. We also set the most powerful element to its lowest setting to test its ability to hold a large pot of tomato sauce below a boil.

Baking:
This reflects the evenness of cookies and cakes in multi-rack baking tests.

Comment:
I use the range everyday. Since I bought it 1 year and 6 months ago, I find that it is difficult to clean the top and difficult to regulate the burners. Now it is beeping and indicating errorF10/F11. Called the company and they said I need to call a service person. Already only after a year!! of performance!! I don't recommend buying this make or any other modern make, they are all defected for one reason or another. Buy the older models, pay cheaper and better performance, and you don't have to buy a new one for at least 10 years.. Unless someone out there comes up with a brand name that people can count on and trust. Until then I will keep my other white old appliances until they stop working!! my Inglis washer is at least 30 years old, found in my home when I moved in, my fridage and stove in the basement are over 20years old and work great and cleaning is easy. My dryer 10 years old. I am even sorry I got rid of a green G.E. fridge and stove which worked so good and shine after cleaning them. Buyers be aware of these new stainless still appliances. They look pretty but are ugly inside.I know this review will not be put in public but its the truth. Oh and I forgot the glass shelf in my fridge broke into hundreds of pieces in my hands when cleaning it...

Comment:
We use this stove everyday .We both like to cook. Like smooth surface but it does scratch . The bottom drawer won't stay on track so never use it. Paint peals around oven vent. Double glass gets dirty between and back burner<br />out and not fixed as we plan to replace the whole stove.
