About - LG LRE3012ST

Cooktop high:
This reflects how quickly the most powerful element could raise a 6-liter (6 1/3 quart) pot of water from room temperature to a near boil.

Cooktop low:
This reflects the ability of the lowest power element to melt and hold chocolate without scorching it. We also set the most powerful element to its lowest setting to test its ability to hold a large pot of tomato sauce below a boil.

Comment:
When I saw the rust, I immediately tested the surfaces with a magnet - it IS magnetic - cannot be stainless.<br />I called LG about the rust stains - I asked them what it is made of. A return call confirmed it is NOT stainless. They had NO explanation. Luckily I have found this defect fairly early and can still return it... It is a shame because I researched ovens before I purchased and this oven looks and works great
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
