I should have looked at reviews of this product lots of people have the same issue as I did. This was not working from the word go. I did a test where I put both probes into a glass of ice water at the same time. One input was 39 degrees and the other 59 degrees. Switching the probes indicated the problem was in the unit itself as the same inputs had the same readings.
