My husband cooks in it frequently my kids use it for popcorn and reheating. The interior is rusting and sparking. Store will not replace and unable to contact Emerson. Would not recommend at all!

We use it to cook frozen vegatables. 2 Days after the warranty expires, so did the control panel. It comes on by itself at odd times. We have finally just unplugged it. The fact that we cannot afford a new one and the store that we purchased it from won't replace it has me very upset. I can't even find a place to complain to the manufacturer makes me sure that I will never again buy anything Emerson makes or sales!

The main use I have for a microwave is short cycle warming - reheat coffee, pop popcorn, heat corndogs... that kind of thing. After less than a month, it wouldn't heat anything. Oh, it APPEARS to function... the only indication that it's not is the fact that nothing is warmer when it's taken out.

Holy cow!! This microwave is downright dangerous! DO NOT BUY! Type in Emerson microwave recall...even the specific model number, you will find hundreds of similar complaints to mine!! After several months of use, my Emerson MWG9115SL started arcing, sparking, caught fire. There are burn marks on the inside. It started out doing it once in a while and I thought, maybe its the dish. Nope! I wouldnt walk away from it because I didnt trust it. My friend was over one day and mentioned hers was doing the same thing. So I looked it up! DO NOT BUY!!! Emerson knows about this problem and does NOTHING!! Someone is going to die!
