Watts This is the manufacturer's figure of the microwave power output. In general, the more watts an oven offers, the greater its cooking power-and the faster your food will be cooked. That said, differences in claimed wattage of 100 watts or less are unlikely to result in significant differences in performance.
Detailed prompts Display offers instructions to guide you through the cooking process.
Convection mode A few microwaves include a convection oven feature, which has a heating element and a fan that distributes heat. In convection mode, you can set the oven temperature as you would in a traditional oven to bake or roast items.
Sensor Controls the cooking and reheating time automatically. It shuts off an oven when it determines (usually by sensing steam) that food is hot enough.
Stainless/SS-look option Stainless-steel is stylish, but it shows fingerprints. Another option: a vinyl-covered metal finish that gives you a stainless-steel look but resists smudging.
I very quickly solved the door latch problem with a squirt of WD-40. True, it shouldn't have arisen, but this is otherwise the best of four or five microwaves I've owned over the years.

Difficult to use
Hard To See Display
I bought the Genius Sensor 1250W NN-SN744S. To cook a frozen pot pie I pushed the sensor cook button and got a 1. I then had to get my reading glasses, refer to the menu inside the door, find frozen entree was number 5, push the sensor cook button 4 more times to get a 5, close the door and then push start. With 2 minutes to go the machine beeped twice for some reason, supposedly when it detects steam. I looked in and the entree was boiling over. And you can't turn off the annoying beeps.

Scary after 1 year and a half......
As Hard As Can Be Inclu
Including Our Over 6 Ft M
We Had To Slam The Door
This Panasonic Microwave became very difficult to start after 1 year and a half. We had to slam the door as hard as we could, including our 6 ft. men! If we didn't slam the door, the microwave wouldn't start. Terrible machine after we spent all that money!! Maybe you should test microwave ovens for more than 1 year. We are very disappointed in Panasonic and will not buy another microwave from them.
