Comment:
This model's predecessor was a CR Best Buy. It was a very powerful 1300 watts which is great. But I constantly had to adjust cooking times which are mostly based on an 1100 watts. Unfortunately the microwave expired this morning during bacon cooking. I would say it's use was less than average with just my partner and me, no kids.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't like the dial that you spin to set the cook time.... what happened to the numeric key pad?
the door on our model was noisy to close... very tinny sound.
After 2 years, the switch on the door closer started to go and the microwave door wouldn't close completely. The light would stay on and the microwave would not start. Looks like it will cost over a $100 to fix it... may as well buy a new one... its a shame... what a waste.

They don't make appliances like they used to.
