I bought this Microwave for our new house. I wasn't real thrilled with it at first, it was too big, and I didn't like the white (I wanted stainless). My then wife is and was domestically challenged. But she had the Microwave figured out in no time. Frankly, she produced some outstanding dinners - frozen packaged dinners. Seriously, the frozen dinners, were evenly heated with no burned or hard food pieces - even better than if she'd actually use the oven.<br /><br />I'm a retired chef, and there are times that I use the Microwave to because I'm having a lazy moment and I'll bake a potato or yam. The outcome of baked potatos and yams were absolutely perfect - the ends weren't over done. - amazing! The kids have mastered defrosting sweet buns, and pop corn.<br /><br />All that said, this darn Microwave is incredibly consistent and durable. If I was half as good as this appliance, I'd probably still be married.<br /><br />I Like this Microwave, and I will find another one if I can. Hopefully in Stainless. 14 years of abuse by the ex and the kids, it finally through in the towel. That darn Microwave took more domestic abuse than I would. Finally, the door hings are starting to wear. so if you try to open the door, the microwave fires up. <br /><br />Give a bit of a lift from the bottom (the door) release button works just fine. Very Good Microwave; I will own another.
