Had this model for 10 years, till it died yesterday (RIP). No complaints. It isn't any noisier, or do any better or worse job of defrosting than anyother models I've tried. I use it for everything: reheating, defrosting, cooking, anything I need fast!<br />If you know how to really COOK with a microven, this will work great. I've made muffins, cookies, cakes, GREAT for sauces!, fish, cassaroles. I've been very happy with it.<br />It is a little noisey, no more than most. It does an okay job on defrost, no better or worse than others (it's always tricky defrosting properly in ANY microven).<br />This model worked 10 years for us, and I'm replacing it with the same.

The only reason I purchased this model was because it was the right size. It failed after only 6 months. Took it back to the local dealer since it is still under warranty, and they can't get it to work either. [...]

We've had this since renovating our kitchen in the fall of 2007. I don't cook entire meals in it, it is used for defrosting, melting (butter/chocolate etc.) and reheating items. 11 inch dinner plates fit, I use a microwave safe cover over the plate when reheating, always turns out great. Very easy to use, has never had a problem. I will purchase a second one soon for another house.
