Unit came in motorhome, owned almost year but used only three times. Stopped heating, factory stated they would send shipping container for repair, but did not receive....seems they are waiting for my warranty to expire...no web address, no factory address....seems fishy...many others seem to have a problem with service also.....

I just love this oven so far. It cooks super fast and very accurate. I haven't been able to burn anything yet!!! But there is one drawback so far. (In 2times mode)I have cooked a whole chicken, chicken parts etc. in a metal baking pan. At first I tried lining these pans with aluminum foil to save on clean up but the oven arcs when you use foil in the 2times speed. I removed the foil and saw no more arcing. This last time I cooked 2 chicken leg quarters using the 2times speed, no foil, when I took the pan out of the oven I noticed 2 small burned off places on the black oven tray that you must set your pan of chicken on to cook. These spots are the size of a bee bee and they show where the black coating was burned off of the pan by arcing and were not there previously. I wiped the tray and black coloring was all over the napkin. These 2 spots were perfectly lined up with the pan the chicken was in so I know it couldn't have come from a previous use when I tried foil. I will only use glass cookware when using the 2times oven mode from now on so it doesn't destroy my baking tray.

We are on our second Half Time oven. First one lasted about 3 years (microwave part stopped working). We liked the concept so well that we bought another. The second one broke down (microwave part) after 13 months! Talked with very helpful company customer service rep, paid $50 for repairs and sent back [...]. Returned to us and worked fine for about 3 weeks, then microwave part died again. Sent back again (no further charge), again returned to us, worked fine for about 3 months and microwave ability just died again! It's a huge endeavor for us to pack and unpack this heavy item. Great idea when it's working, but obviously there is some inherent problem with the microwave magnetron (whatever that is). So, to recap, two of these developed the same problem; namely, the microwave ability died.
