Easy To Clean
I saw this microwave at a local dealer, and fell in love, but from the measurements, I thought it was too big if I used a tall stock pot on my range. After 2 years of looking, and finding nothing I liked as well, I took cardboard and added it to current microwave to match measurements of this one, added stock pot and realized that it would work. Every one who has used it in our home has been amazed at how well it works with large pans, like left-over lasagna. I never used defrost before, but love it on this unit. The tray is easy to remove for cleaning, and the stainless sides are very easy to clean. However, we do cover all of our food in the oven. We have had it well over a year and haven't found a single problem. I like that the vent has high, medium1, medium2 & low. I don't use most of the auto functions, but my husband does. I do use the soften/melt button for butter, and the potato buttons. Since I am always slow in making dinner, I frequently put food in the microwave oven to get the cooking started and then put that food in the range or in soup/stew on the stove. It really expedites the cooking process. The only thing that I don't like, but it is probably necessary is that the oven & timer continue to beep until you go over and hit the stop button. No matter how many times I yell at it, it won't listen so I have to manually shut it off.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
