Zero quality control by LG

Had new unit installed 23 months ago. Before first use, the unit did not work. Technician came out and replaced a broken door frame, the slide out vent, the turn table motor, shaft and wheels. That's right, the wheels were not even round! The unit was clearly a lemon and we would have returned it had it not been installed at some expense. A few months later, the computer malfunctioned and was replaced under warranty. Now the computer is not working correctly. The only solution is to open and close the door hard several times to make unit operational until the next time we want to use it.

Worked ok for a year and a half, circuit board went out, not cost effective to repair. Bought a new LG and half an hour after the installer left, it he new one went out. Timer is unreadable and half the buttons don't work. Would never buy another LG product. This is my third experience with a bad LG product.

Three service calls in 3 weeks and now it doesn't work at all. LG customer service wants to see if the problem can be fixed as it is not the same as the original problem and refused to escalate the call when requested. There are other options available for microwaves and I will be making my purchases with a different company.
